Technical Perspective: A Look At The Carrera C Heuer 01 Chronograph With TAG Heuer's Head Of Products
Last month in New York City, TAG Heuer celebrated the launch of their Carrera - Heuer 01 chronograph with a spectacular event featuring new brand ambassador Tom Brady. The Carrera - Heuer 01 is a milestone watch for TAG Heuer. Besides being a manufacture automatic chronograph at a very attractive price, it is a major product launch for the brand's new CEO, Jean-Claude Biver. Recently, HODINKEE caught up with TAG Heuer's Head of Products, Marc Walti, for a technical discussion about the movement in the Carrera - Heuer 01. 1 OF 5 2 OF 5 HODINKEE: How does the Calibre Heuer 01 differ from Calibre 1887? I went to look at the Aqua Terra 8500 and instead walked out with this. But I do like the 8500 movement, guess I'll have to wait for the Planet Ocean one.
After seeing digdugs Patek Nautilus I like to show my Patek Aquanaut (new model, XL)
I like your nautilus digdug, can't go wrong with a Patek ;)Anyway, here is my newest 5167 Aquanaut.Probably one of the first because delivery started in september
BLNR help - used or new?
Hey guys, long time reader, first time poster here. Love the forum, has been very helpful in the past. I own 2 Omegas (Speedy Pro & Seamaster PO GMT), 2 Breitlings (Superocean Heritage 46 & Transocean 1461), a Tudor (Black Bay Heritage S&G), a Sinn (104), a Tag Heuer (Link) and some Seikos (SKX, Samurai, Cocktail Time). I've wanted a BLNR for a while now and I think I'm ready to pull the trigger. As you know, the BLNR is still in very high demand. ADs here in Australia won't even put my name on the waiting list or they tell me it'll be at least 2 years. For now, that leaves me with 2 options. 1) Buy a used one in decent condition, have it polished and pay a 10% premium or 2) purchase a new one from an independent watch store and pay a 30% premium. That one is brand new and would include a warranty card with my name on it. I'm not allowed to attached images to this post, but you can check out 2 pics here:bit (dot) ly / 2GfaPeNbit (dot) ly / 2IKl4pTMaybe another user can incl
