Only Watch Preview at Tourneau NY September 10-12
Watch collectors and aficionados will have an opportunity to preview the 34 one-of-a-kind timepieces being offered at Only Watch 2009 during an exhibition at the Tourneau Time Machine in New York September 10-12. Only Watch is a biannual auction held during the Monaco Yacht Show under the patronage of HSH Prince Albert II. The world’s leading watch brands donate unique and first-in-a-series “Only Watches”, and the timepieces are auctioned by Patrizzi & Co. with all proceeds going to support research into Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a childhood disease. The auction will be held September 24 in Monaco. The more I see it the more I love itThe PAM 519 and 520 are so perfect.Panerai made a watch which could be a vintage Patek. ( not talking about the size because we won't find vintage 45mm patek chronographs) but the combination of dial and case is so perfect.I'm pretty sure these 2 will get a lot of attention and not only from people who love Panerai but people who never thought about buying a PaneraiDon't know how they did it but this is a watch doesn't look like all the other Panerai notwithstanding it has the same case as any other 1940 caseI never thought I would mention Panerai and Patek in one sentence �� but in this case they deserve it. The movement is absolutely wonderful ( Minerva origin) ��. But a Patek is still better finishedWOW �� JUST WOW
