Incoming ;-)
Hi fellow Trf-membersA lot of advice, watch-surfing, a little enabling and not a lot of common sense ;-) has finally let me in the direction of my first Patek. Had a trip to Rome, Italy, planed with my two children and by chance I found a mint unworn 5711 blue dial in a shop in Rome I know from before. It's a short flight from Denmark and I go there a couple of times a year to relax, sightsee and enjoy the Roman cuisine ;-)This spring I picked up my first PM watch (116718LN) in Rome so it has been a nice watch-year for me ;-)Tomorrow we are flying to Rome and I'll pickup my new watch in the afternoon if all goes by plan. I have an option on a 5712 but I'm pretty confident that I will be posting pics of a 5711 in the Roman sun tomorrow ;-)Thank for the advice, guidance and not least patience. RegardsAlexander Ps. Feel free posting a picture or two ;-)RegardsAlexander116718LN GN, 116600, 116200, 116610LV
My 5070 Accuracy-Excellent

They said the Patek precision is so fine and that results in extremely accurate results. Mine is perfect after 2 days (set using time.is) . Forgive me, I'm an engineer....

At the time, I was wearing an Omega 2254 Seamaster, and the Luminor style watch with the large crownguard looked so different from anything else I had seen before. Although I thought the watch looked ugly, I felt inexplicably drawn to the design. My interest in Panerai and watches in general picked up, and I came very close to picking up a Zero or 112, but I ultimately held off because I decided to leave my job and go back to grad school.Fast forward five years and a lot sure has changed. First and foremost, is my recent marriage to a lovely lady who not only appreciates me, but also my passion for Panerai. In fact, she was the one who suggested I get a Panerai as my wedding gift! I hadn't really kept current on the latest models, so I spent about a month doing research on the web and trying out differe
