Concord Announces C Lab Series
Concord announces the creation of C Lab Series, a special unit that will research and develop cutting-edge timepieces. Concord describes C Lab Series as a “hub of expression and design, whose mission is to transform watchmaking. In this testing ground of ideas, science and engineering become an art-form while research and development becomes a discipline in its own right.” The C Lab Series will test and employ “futuristic” materials, and Concord plans to offer grants to universities and engineering schools to pursue “extraordinary watchmaking partnerships.”
Blognapping: Often Innocent Copyright Violations
There is often a misconception that content online is either free or up for grabs. Most of us are well skilled in the art of copying and pasting, and we take its functionality for granted. Often times taking other people's content, we seldom stop to think of the implications. Granted, this is not my personal opinion of the appropriateness of such conduct, more an attempt to enlighten those who are not aware of their actions.Whether or not it has an accompanying copyright registration with the Federal Government, all original works of authorship posted online have inherent copyright protection. This means that it belongs to the author who created or owns the content, and that others may not make use of it freely.Essentially, copyright protection means an author of a work has the exclusive right to profit and distribute the work. So you own a Daytona
Given the popularity of the Rolex Daytona, I'm curious as to how you came about owning this watch. For example: were you on an AD's waiting list for this watch? Did you have a customer relationship with the AD? How long did you have to wait until you were able to purchase the watch given that the AD did not have one in stock? Did you purchase the watch from a gray market at premium price? Was this your first Rolex watch? Thank you, in advance, for your input. I'm on a waiting list at my local AD and have purchased four Rolex watches and a Breitling watch from this AD in the past two years. I've been on their waiting list since last July.
