ContaTempo Scuderia Introduces Two Mechanical Chronogrphs
ContaTempo Scuderia is a watch brand many of you may be unaware of, but their aggressive, overbuilt, race inspired aesthetic is one that begs to be noticed.The entire line of ContaTempo Scuderia watches share many distinctive characteristics, not least of which is the inclusion of a bullhead case design on all timepieces. This design choice is in keeping with the brand's commitment to creating watches inspired by automobile and motorcycle racing, as pushers positioned at 12 o'clock recall the design of a stop watch.Enrico Margaritelli, a third generation watch maker and previous collaborator with Fossil and Emporio Armani, is the brand's head, and his extensive experience in watch making is apparent in each of the ContaTempo Scuderia pieces. In our time at the ContaTempo booth at Baselworld, we had the chance to go hands on with the brand's entire line of watches, all of which felt very well made and wore comfortably despite their large (46 mm diameter) size. The 39MM AP is just too large for me. Suggestions?
As much as I really love the AP royal oak, the 39MM just won't sit on my 6 wrists.I have pretty thin wrists, but the problem is that the stiff bracelet next to the lugs prevent the watch from resting on my wrists, and both AD's that I visited were certain that this problem will not change even if links were removed as the bracelet just is stiff and that's the way the watch is designed.The 37mm does wear nicely but I really don't like the white color dial as much as the black or blue.Is AP just out of the option for me unless I am happy to wear the 39mm without it resting on my wrists?

Fallen in love with the Moonwatch
I have slowly fallen in love with the Moonwatch. Such a classic and price is within reach.I did recently put a order for a new Subc no date because I dont want to deal with counterfeit Rolex. It would hate me emotionally if I ever found out I bought a fake used Rolex.With the Moonwatch, used price is relatively cheap (just the basic model) compare to a Rolex. The lower the capital cost, the lower the risk, just like all investment.How do I even start? I live in Canada and often travel to Asia (Hong Kong and China mostly) for pleasure/work. I am going to guess Canada is not the place to find a good used Moonwatch. How about Hong Kong? Any recommendation on where to start? It excites me knowing I will go though the process of learning how to find the right used Moonwatch and the actually used shopping process. I often buy used electronics and vehicle, that's the only used experience I have. Sold my damn Apple Watch last week, no more toy watch :)
