Citizen Donates $1.3 million to Japanese Disaster Relief
Citizen is donating $1.3 million to the Japanese earthquake and tsunami disaster relief effort. Citizen Watch Company of America, Inc., (COA), encompassing the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, has already donated $50,000 to the American Red Cross, earmarked for the Japanese effort. Citizen Holdings Co., Ltd. has announced an additional donation of one hundred million yen ($1.25 million). Citizen is headquartered in Tokyo, with offices, factories and employees throughout Japan, said Laurence Grunstein, President, Citizen Watch Company of America, Inc. Our thoughts are with them, along with the millions of other people affected by this terrible disaster. Railmaster '57 Trilogy - can I swim....?
Never posted on the Omega forum (I've owned a couple of Rolex) but I currently find myself seriously considering one of:Seamaster 300 modernSeamaster 300 '57Railmaster modernRailmaster '57Firstly, I welcome any views or experience from owners or enthusiasts on any of the above. How do they compare in quality and fit & finish to a modern Rolex, perhaps something like an Explorer ?Secondly, I note that the Railmaster '57 has a quoted water resistance of 60m. I am not familiar with the conventions of Omega's depth rating - is this a rating that means you can comfortably swim and bathe or is it little more than splash proof ?I think I prefer the look of the Railmaster '57 to the Seamaster '57 but the depth rating is my main worry.

stickers on the new watch
while browsing at a grey earlier. Happen to notice that some submariners like the hulk or ND come with stickers that are with the white QR code instead of the usual black QR code.Note that the watches are fully stickered properly just that the sticker with the QR code was in white instead. didn't get to take a picture of it though.incase anyone is wondering which sticker I refer to it is the usual black QR sticker pictured in the attachment. any cause for concern if the watch is with a sticker QR code in white instead? does it denote something else ?

Explorer ii 216570 Issues
Hi Guys,I have an explorer ii 216570 which is not even 4 years old, I have had to send it back to Rolex once already as it stopped working and it has now just stopped againWhen the watch is not worn it lives in a watch winder so there is really no reason for it ever to stop and if it does it should start up again...Was just wondering if anybody has faced similar issues??Thanks
