Breitling Chronomat 44 Watch Limited Edition For Govberg
An exclusive partnership between Breitling and Govberg Jewelers offers this Chronomat 44 Special Edition timepiece, as a series of 50 limited edition pieces. The 44mm case is brushed steel with a high polished finish and a sapphire crystal exhibition caseback displaying its Breitling Caliber 01 movement. Basically the Chronomat 44 you know and love, but with a different set of dial colors."Over the past twenty-five years, we have watched Breitling transition from its infancy' to a horological superpower with a true cult following," Third generation President & CEO of Govberg Jewelers Danny Govberg said. "We are honored to celebrate the Breitling collector community with such an exceptional timepiece." For Govberg, this Breitling watch is "for the fans."This special version's dial is in black and charcoal with a central second hand and chronograph subdial hands accented in the brand's signature yellow. Additionally, the dial is framed with a unidirectional rotating ratcheted bezel.
Panerai Launches Luminor Base Logo Acciaio PAM 00634 Special Edition For The 15th Anniversary Of Pan
It's one of the best known, most dynamic, sometimes unruly but always passionate places for watch enthusiasts: Paneristi, and for 15 years it's been not only a place to come talk about watches, and about the common love its members have for Panerai, but also a place where you can feel a real sense of community and even family. Paneristi was started by Guy Verbist in 2000, and though it has a long and close relationship with Panerai it's always remained completely independent – and it's that independence and the dynamism it engenders that's endeared Paneristi to both its members and to Panerai itself. 1 OF 6 2 OF 6 3 OF 6 4 OF 6 To help celebrate the 15th anniversary of the site, Panerai has created a special edition watch: the Luminor Base Logo Acciaio 44 mm, PAM 00634. This will be a limited edition of 500 units and available to Paneristi through Panerai boutiques only (check out the announcement on Paneristi for details). I
Speedmaster 57 Retro
I haven't seen anyone talking about this model which is surprising because I think it's one of the best watches from Basel this year.I loved the Speedmaster 57 when they first introduced it two years ago, but the lack of the broad arrow hour hand definitely bothered me. They called it the 57, but it lacked identity. I liked that they used it in the sub dial, but thought it would have been better as the hour hand. I also didn't like the PCLs which have also been changed for this version. Now the center links are brushed and the outer thinner links are polished. They have addressed those concerns, but they made another design choice that I'm conflicted about.Vintage Lume.I'm conflicted because I think this version looks fantastic. The black dial and the tan color of the lume look great together. I also like how the lume areas are recessed instead of applied indices. The problem is that forced vintage looks which is obviously what they are going for.Not in stores until July, but from what
Thinking of adding some Platinum
I usually start planning my annual addition to the collection around this time. I do this until Basel passes and then lock something in.Was originally considering adding a YG DD40 to my collection because I love the RG so much but now the Platinum DD40 (ice blue/sticks)is singing to me.Will be adding to this..
Time for AP?
As I get older, I find myself not spending enough time with each watch in my collection. So I am thinking to trade a couple or maybe 3 for a AP RO or ROO. I understand many of you also have RO and/or ROO in your watch collection, and I was wondering if I can get your opinions on the move? Any of you regret picking up RO or ROO?Thinking to get rid of the Daytona and one sub for AP.
