Unauthorized Rolex Phone From China Does Actual Rolex Watches Shame
Guess what, China could care less about intellectual property rights. So copyright, trademark, and patent in infringement is just a whim away most of the time. The watch industry has had to deal with this for many years when it comes to replica or fake watches, but there are also other types of trademark infringement situations such as this. Certain Chinese mobile phone makers like to attach high-end names to phone such as this "Rolex" mobile phone. Taking out the legal issues, this is a cute if not slightly pathetic looking homage to what Rolex might be as a phone maker. Who knows, after companies such as Tag Heuer and Ulysse Nardin have made luxury mobile phones, maybe Rolex will someday? How knows.Pictured are two "unauthorized" Rolex labeled mobile phones. 5000 posts, Patek, TRF, and Friends
Finally hit 5,000 posts (small potatoes relative to many prolific posters here). TRF is a great forum with even BETTER PEOPLE. I've made many friends here, many of whom I talk to regularly. I'd also like to say Thanks to those who have offered me advice along the way. There are many members here who have such a deep knowledge of Patek, and their willingness to share is part of what makes TRF such a wonderful forum. TRF is an invaluable resource in watch collecting. Use it that's my advice! This has been a fantastic journey so far. So, what better way to celebrate this milestone than with a posting of my first Patek, the 5712/1a. This watch will always have a special place in my collection (thankfully I realized this quickly after selling my first one - dumb move, but hey, I learned!). Here's to the next 5,000 posts and beyond. ..

Hi guys,I was wondering something that most of you will most likely knowWhen i am winding my 114060(when it stopped) i see that it cost me about 17-25 turns to get it ''moving'' so the second-marker doesnt start walking directly when i'm doing so... is this normal?
