More Watch Reviews! Demand What You Need To Make Watch Purchase Decisions
By far most watch reviews you will find today are provided by dedicated watch enthusiasts who purchase, then subsequently post images and reviews of the watches they purchase online. Usually these reviews are placed on forums or dedicated user submission websites. Then you have the professional reviews that you will find in watch magazines. More often than not, these reviews are of very expensive watches, and really don't cover enough of what most people want to know. For example, watch reviews in WatchTime magazine cover a reviewed watch's movement at very great lengths. Of course the movement of a watch is important to me, but I am more interested in whether it works well, than four paragraphs explaining how some new gear arrangement allows the chronograph function to work in a slightly more efficient manner. Panda vs Safari.. your pick?
Hello guys,Seems like the Panda and Safari are two of the more popular ROO models. My understanding is that the Panda is slightly larger at 44mm vs the Safari at 42mm, and the Panda can be ordered with a steel bracelet as well. I was wondering, if you had to choose between the two, which would be your preference?

first it was planet ocean chrono 45 mm..may be a td too big..now i cant stop looking at the seamaster 300m chrono..looking for a great everyday watch. did omega re do the seamaster 300 or is a newer model coming out..i know the plnaet ocean is fairly new

Plexi maintenance
Do you guys have any interesting plexi maintenance tips? I've always used Mother's Mag & Aluminium Polish and Meguiar's Headlight Protectant on plexi. I know many swear by PolyWatch or even toothpaste but the only real requirement is that it be a very fine abrasive. Heck even CapeCod clothes should work. I just use Mother's because it's cheapest and easier to find. The Meguiar's Proctectant is probably overkill but it's always worked well on my cars. What's worked for you?

Why would Rolex remove all references to 904L steel from its website except these two articles and begin calling their watch material Oystersteel?materials.htmlOne of the articles says: Rolex became the first watchmaking brand to pioneer the use of 904L steel for the cases of all its steel watches. Most commonly used in high‑technology and in the aerospace and chemical industries, its excellent anti-corrosion properties are comparable to those of precious metals and it offers a final polish of exceptional sheen.Sounds perfect! Why can't Rolex just leave it at that? I guess it wants to differentiate itself from other future watch company users of 904L? It just seems silly. It was a nice development in 1985 when Rolex started using 904L and its easy for people to understand what 904L is once explained to them. Period.There is no need to give 904L a weird name to impress the unwashed masses. I guess Rolex should just start saying Oysterbezel, Oystercrown, Oystercrystal, etc.
