Images from WatchTime’s NYC Hublot Event
This past Tuesday night, a select group of WatchTime friends attended an invitation-only event with Hublot at the elegant Park Avenue Autumn restaurant in Manhattan. About 50 attendees enjoyed an evening of delicious food and wine, fabulous watches, and a chance to meet Hublot CEO Jean-Claude Biver, U.S. president Beatrice de Quervain, Hublot’s Mike Margolis, and WatchTime editors Joe Thompson, Mark Bernardo and Amy Bernstein. Guests enjoyed a cocktail reception and an opportunity to meet top Hublot executives, and to try on Hublot’s newest models and rare high complications. Following cocktails, dinner was served, and Mr. Biver gave an entertaining and informative presentation. Each attendee made a generous contribution, the entire proceeds of which were donated to Smile Train, an organization providing free cleft surgery for poor children in developing countries. And now, some images from the evening, which you may enlarge with a click. The venue. Omega Country Code 33400
I recently purchased a used titanium blue face Omega Seamaster 2232.80.00 that came with the original boxes, instruction manual & the 3 cards: chronometer, pictograms, & international warranty. I was told the watch was purchased about 3 years ago as NOS. On the warranty card, the model & serial # were printed but the date spot was blank as was the dealer info box. Below the date box, anyone know which country code 33400 correlates to? I've tried searching but to no avail.I know 2011 refers to the US & 2025 refers to Canada. Also does anyone know when this particular model was discontinued?
Cleaning my first Rolex?
Hi everyone! Just joined this forum and hope to be an exciting part of it. Bought my first Rolex last week. 41mm DJ Wimbledon Dial Jubilee 18k/Steel.I have been waiting for this for the longest time. Question is on cleaning. I know its gonna get scratched and that some people wear them as battle wounds. Is there anything wrong with cleaning my watch daily or multiple times a day? Currently I'm using a cloth used for eyeglasses, phone screen, laptop screen. And wiping it down dry, would it hurt if I applied a cleaning solution? I do this several times a day to remove fingerprints. Is this a good method?
