Anybody get this option for their RO? I'm in Vegas and saw it on display. $1400. Looks nice imho. ig - watch.kakashi
For The Same Money: Daytona, AP ROC, or VC?
I'm developing a goal watch (already landed the grail watch). For the same money, would you rather have a Rolex 116520 Daytona with a 4130 Rolex movement, or an Audemars Piguet 25860 Royal Oak chronograph (39mm) with a Frederic Piguet caliber 1185?For the record, I have owned the Rolex, and it remains one of my top three favorite personally owned watches. Clearly I'm a chronograph nut. I did own an AP Moonphase but the dial wasn't my style. I did love the Royal Oak Genta-ness of the bracelet and case, so odds are I would love the AP ROC too.Between the Daytona and ROC, which one and why? And who would throw in a VC Overseas chrono for a few bucks more and get that one instead? (Unsure if I like the VC or just appreciate that freakin' awesome bracelet integrating part of the Maltese cross logo).Apologies to anyone who is put off by these this-or-that posts. It's a guilty pleasure of mine but I respect that it turns a lot of members off. :) Thanks in advance!
Lume on ROOs question
Dear Forum membersI am preparing myself to purchase my first AP and am considering the following possibilities:- New Safari- Elephant- Black / Red- Old Safari- Old Navy- Panda- VolcanoWhile doing research on these models I have come across conflicting information about the the lume on the dials. Therefore I would like to ask if you could clarify to me wether these models do posses lume or not. Also any input regarding these models as a daily watch would be greatly appreciated.Thank you for your helpAndrEnviado do meu iPhone usando Tapatalk
Sandwich dial, ti, closed caseback, manual wind, second hand
Hi Everyone,I am not a fan of wearing the saphire casebacks. Trying to see if I can find a Pam that is a manual wind, sandwich dial, seconds at 9 and possibly titanium. Any suggestions? Used or new, I'm open.

Currently at a little less as I'm recovering from shoulder surgery and just got out of a brace for 4 week where my arm did nothing at all, so my wrist size has atrophied.Work in casual environments, suit up rarely, always wear shirtsleeves rolled up (for size/thickness consideration)Style-wise, I tend toward refined casual classics-- very little black, mostly classic menswear colors of navy, white, grey, olive, burgundy, and various shades of blue. Live in Southern California. Typical cool-weather look is well-fitted/tapered jeans, Alden shell cordovan shoes, OCBD in blue/white.
