Girard-Perregaux Three Bridge Neo Tourbillon Automatic Watch For 2014
The iconic Three Bridge Tourbillon collection from Girard-Perregaux has been one of the more understated, yet interesting high-end timepieces available for quite sometime. Originally based on the design of a Girard-Perregaux pocket watch from the late 19th century, the aesthetic of three distinct parallel bridges and a tourbillon has been a key part of the brand for as long as I can recall. A new version with an automatic and an updated design has been released for 2014 at the Baselworld watch show.Known as the "Neo Tourbillon With Three Bridges," the timepiece is most noteworthy for playing with the design of the bridges themselves. Retained are the arrow point ends, but now they are now skeletonized. Further, the 2014 Girard-Perregaux Three Bridge Neo Tourbillon Automatic model will have titanium bridges in a deep gray color with a very interesting look. Pretty much everything about the watch is actually new, especially the hour and minute hands as well as the touribllon cage. Furthe
Hands-On: With The Patek Philippe 5140R And 5140P, Classic Perpetuals Both With New Dial Options For 2014
While the two big releases for Patek Philippe at Basel World this year both happened to be in stainless steel (the new Nautilus Chrono Travel Time 5990 / Annual Calendar Chrono 5960A), it's worth noting that one of its more understated and elegant, but important, timepieces received two updates. The reference 5140 is Patek's round, traditional perpetual calendar, and this year we saw two brand new dials. It is the follow up to the iconic 3940, which is considered to be one of the most important pieces of Patek's modern history – many consider it, along with the 3970, the first serially produced truly complicated timepiece. Its 20-year reign came to an end in 2006 when Patek showed the 5140, which would use the same ultra-thin, self-winding, micro-rotor-powered caliber 240Q. Since then, the 5140 has been shown in white gold, yellow gold, rose gold with brown dial, and platinum with a blue dial. 2 OF 4 The platinum case with a galvanized black dial features

Speedmaster price in Germany
Hello,Can anybody please tell me, at what price can you find a speedmaster professional in an AD in Germany? Thanks
It really is all about relations/connections...
So a forum member recently bought a hard to find Rolex watch. I don't believe he was on an the waiting list, but just happened to mention he is interested in this model when he was buying another watch in that dealer. I guess shortly after, the dealer got one, called him, and he got the watch.I know the dealer and am on the waiting list for the watch, in a different color. So I called the dealer to confirm if there is a long wait list for that color dial. They said yes. I think at least a couple of people. They also mentioned if the people on that list turn down the opportunity, they will start calling people on the other list. I did not get a call, which I am not surprised, since I am not at the top spot. This just shows one thing. Even if you are on the very top spot! you still may not get the next watch. You need to have connection.....
