Burberry Britain Watches
I am still counting up the times Burberry uses the terms "heritage, tradition(al), craftsmanship, innovative," and other similar adjectives brands commonly use when describing their new creations. In fact, most of the Burberry Britain watch press release is actually just a list of adjectives. Even when they describe the timepiece itself they use mostly adjectives to describe it. Consider me impressed - this document ought to receive some type of award for its incredibly elegant lack of substance (however it does have a fully operational set of tech specs). Allow me to share with you a few select passages if I may:"The Britain marries our heritage and functional design values with modernity and innovation, creating a watch that is as elegant as it is relaxed. "A celebration of the British inspirations behind the global brand,The Britain marries craftsmanship and heritage with modernity and innovation""It all comes from this iconic timeless piece of ourheritage which is the foundation of
The Stainless Trinity
I had a great time at the AP boutique yesterday, wonderful experience ogling over a few pieces before deciding on my very first AP.Thanks to all who responded to my previous thread here .rolexforums/showthread.php?t=502077I had contemplated on getting an AP in my upcoming trip to London next week but upon further consideration, I've decided to just get one at home especially since I was dead set on getting a blue dial. Also the 5 years warranty is a bonus, an added peace of mind.Sorry, the photos from my phone do not really do justice to these fine timepieces.A couple of ROOsPurchasing my first but already decided that the either the Navy Blue or the Safari is going to be my next!
My first AP is coming!
I purchased this watch on impulse, as I am leaving for Europe tomorrow. However, I got a great deal on it and now have a grueling 16 hour wait for the watch to be at my doorstep. As soon as it arrives, I will post some pictures. In the meantime, any guesses for what I got?
New pam
Introducing my first pam.The base 000.Ive been focused on Rolex for the last few years and thought it was time to try something else.I had a few omegas and a zenith along the way but flipped and now I'm down to a four watch collection, three Rolex and the pam.I loved how it looked on the wrist at the dealers. It's the first time I tried a pam on and not as big looking as I thought it would be.I love the fact I get a rubber strap extra,do lots of swimming here in the summer.I think I've pretty much got my collection complete now.......??then again, maybe a white dial.😄😄😄
Painted hands on the Explorer Polar
Hello Rolex Polar owners! At my local Rolex dealer I had the chance to get my hands on a Explorer II Polar. What I noticed is, that the sides of the hands are not painted very well. The bare metal looks through or the look partially sanded and painted. As they did not have a second one to compare to, let me ask: Is this the matter with this model general or are the hands on your Polars painted perfect, even on the sides and at the center?Thank youStephan
