Good news everyone! You can now make payments with your watch, or that is to say, a watch. The LAKS Watch2pay combines a very simple quartz watch with the Mastercard Paypass contact-less payment system to allow you to pay up by placing your watch in close proximity to a vendor's Paypass terminal. Only catch is that the watch looks like this.The LAKS Watch2pay is a 42.7 x 15.5 mm watch featuring an ABS (polymer plastic) case and a silicone strap. The Watch2pay sports an acrylic crystal and is powered by a Seiko-sourced quartz movement with date. Available in a wide range of colors, the Watch2pay is available to UK residents for ��99. From a watch nerd standpoint, there isn't much to get excited about as the Watch2pay is essentially just a platform for a small Mastercard Paypass chip that slots into the back of the watch like a?SIM card. It's always fun to find a brand you've never heard of, though for us, it happens less and less these days. So, when I stumbled upon Ancon watches a few weeks ago, I was extremely excited. A quick glance revealed over-sized, over-built tool watches with looks akin to war machines, not your average desk diver. A deeper inspection revealed that the watches were a mix of familiar elements, well-tuned colors and interesting detailing that when combined created watches that were simultaneously charming and fierce. Caught a nasty bug!!!
Been drooling over ALS 1815 chronograph blk dial just released in June. See link below from HODINKEE. What a stunning piece with probably the best movement ever made, dial to die for and the openwork back case literally made me fall off my chair. Earlier this year, I acquired 15400ST + 26400IO and thinking to let 1 go...very very tough decision as I love both. Also thinking to release 2 Pams (which I've worn only 5x) to own this holy grail. Avenger Seawolf surprise after work
I went with a friend to a Breitling shop and found myself getting out of the shop with an Avenger Seawolf I challenged the salesman to give me 30% so he picked up the phone and called the boss who accepted in any case I had it in my wish list for later but with the extra discount I just couldn't resist.
