Introducing: The A. Lange & S?hne Saxonia With Grey Dial
A. Lange & Söhne has added two new models to the ever-popular Saxonia line. At this year's Watches & Wonders in Hong Kong, the German brand has revealed that it will carry the Saxonia with a dark grey dial in white gold and pink gold. 1 OF 5 The traditional 37 mm, manual-winding Saxonia has been part of the Lange family of watches for 20 years, and is considered their most classic watch. The watch currently is made in white and pink gold with a silvered dial. It is no surprise that Lange has introduced the darker grey dial, as they have previously featured this on other models, such as the Lange 1 and Datograph. 2 OF 53 OF 5 In addition to the darker grey dial, there is a newly developed minute scale and they have slightly extended baton indexes. 4 OF 5 The retail price for the pink gold version is $16,600 and the white gold is $17,800. For more information, please visit the A. Lange & Söhne website here. 5 OF
5711/1r vs 5712/1a vs 5726/1a
Dear watch enthusiast. We all know by now Nautilus are impossible to get at retail price due to rarity and high demand. To top it off, now it's almost impossible to be listed under the waiting list unless you have bought a none popular Patek model from the store you want to purchase from . That being said Prices have skyrocketed on 5711 and 5712 by 20% to control the demand and grey market (which skyrocketed as well lol). Long story short, wanted to run a poll and get your opinion for my first patek purchase (managed to be listed on all 3 models through a friend of mine)5711r with rose bracelet (51k) - prestige and 5711 after all5712 in steel and steel bracelet (40k) - rarity but overpriced and 4k short of 5726 5726 in steel (44K) - annual calendar and moonphase for reasonable price, and no real demand I know alot of people will say get what you like the most, but I also for that price consider collectibility and value. To make it short, I love the 5712, but for its price would jump o
Incoming. A Package has Landed...
Hello all,Long time lurker but have not been posting lately. Thought I would share my incoming. Apologies for the photo turned 90 degree. Anyone care to guess on what's in the box?
Poor date readability of 5164
Anyone has this issue? The way for me to check date is to bring my wrist to my chest level. Worse thing is the usual hours that I need to read the date is in the morning. And often the date hand in the subdial is blocked by the hour hand in the morning from 4-8am. Anyone sharing the same frustrations?Otherwise no complaints. This is my fav Patek. Saving up for a 5712/A for its beautiful blue dial and micro-rotor. The date subdial is slightly bigger here. Wonder if it has the same date readability issue as well. If so, I'm considering to go for the 5726 instead.
Resources For Patek Swag?
...besides the obvious solicitation of the AD where I am financially prohibited from spending hundreds of thousands of dollars!I love the (not shiny) brown accessories I have seen on the 'bay (wallets, notepads, etc.). The prices seem okay (I'd love to pay less!) but many of the pieces I like are from a seller in Romania (I'm in the U.S.). Where else can I find such little treasures besides the 'bay and the AD?
