Glashutte Original Senator Panorama Date Watch
It certainly isn't anything revolutionary, but for 2013 one of the new Glashutte Original watches will be this attractive Senator Panorama Date. A simplified version of the Senator with a basic three-hand movement and big date indicator as part of the Glashutte Original GO 100-03 automatic movement. There is an 18k red gold version on a strap which is nice, but what I like a lot more is the steel version with the bracelet. That straight-forward German styling with the large blued-hands make for a fantastic dress watch. Size is 40mm wide which should satisfy the formal/classic watch segment. While the movement does have a gold automatic rotor, I am hoping that the steel version is priced in the $7,000 range that is both reasonable for the brand and should attract enough attention from newcomers to Glashutte Original. Having said that, a more likely price is double that. More on the Senator Panorama Date after this April. glashuette-originalwatches-dealer #gallery-2 {
Stop me before I do something crazy....or not ???
I'm having some troubling thoughts and cannot think of anyone better then the good folks on this forum to set me straight.I current have a lovely ROO Panda which I love, but don't wear that often. I also own the much loved, photographed and discussed SS AP diver....YES I have an AP bracelet as well :)I thought the diver would be a great daily wearer but find it picks up a lot of scratches and even though I mostly work at a desk there are some very non desk components to my profession which the diver does not react well to. So I dont wear it, or any other watch to work at this time...although I really want to.SO.......I was thinking ceramic bezel.....and am now focused on the 44mm AP 24600SO Novelty with white dial (still kinda Panda like to me). However, getting my hands on one would require me to part with BOTH......yes BOTH pieces. I would be left with a lonely almost new bracelet that I would have to then sell off on the forums.I would also then have to find a lower end daily we

Possible trade/sale
Hello all, I have not been very busy on this forum, so please excuse me if I make a faux-pas. Question, i a patek 5712 in rose gold with a tiffany dial (original papers stating tiffany dial), not quite bonding with it. So considering a trade for a 5711 in rose gold. Any thoughts? All opinions are welcomed. Sueno213.
