Dumb AP Diver question from ROO Owner
Hi all - Haven't had the opportunity to hold in person the AP Diver SS (or any of the AP divers for that matter) - Can I get a brief explanation of the timing bezel. 1. It appears to me that it rotates internally, would that be correct?2. If that is the case is the crown at the 50 (10:00) Position controlling that function and is it a screw down crown - can it be manipulated while under water?3. Anyone have any real dive experience with this watch or is the consensus that you just don't go there with this piece. I DO dive with my Rolex Sub.Thanks!Brian
Lovely AP's...
I tried on last week
I bought an Avenger II Seawolf
Found one on eBay where the buyer had an Or best offer, so i sent him an offer i thought he would refuse, but he accepted itSupposed to be new still with plastic, says has boxes and papers (though doesn't actually show box and papers), all i really care is that its the model that was listed, is not in terrible shape and works as it should; since gray market price hiked quite a bit since last year and all models with new numbers and the new bracelet list quite a bit higher and seem to be hot sellersI think i did good as the seller has plenty of good feedback selling many watches costing way more than i paid for the Avenger II Seawolf Crappy picture quality, i think i bought the Volcano black dial, but it can be hard to tell in pictures whether its Volcano Black or Tungsten Gray
Living with orange numerals on PO with black bezel
For those that have PO's with black bezels and orange Arabic numerals on the dial, has anyone gotten tired of the orange? I love mine now but I'm wondering what those who have lived with this for awhile think. Still love it or tired of it?
Rust damage on my Oyster Perpetual Watch
Many years ago I encountered water damage to my watch due to the spindle springing out after locking it and not realising. It was sent off to the Rolex factory and I received a 800 repair which I couldn't afford at the time and the watch wasn't insured.Obviously by now it has complete rust damage. What I would like to know is; could I have the interior of the watch replayed by someone else apart from Rolex, just to get it working. It's a pity to waste such an expensive watch.
