The tourbillon hasn't exactly become ubiquitous, but there's an argument to be made that it may be, just a bit, a victim of its own success. To put it more exactly, the tourbillon may be a victim of the success of modern precision manufacturing methods, which have made it possible to produce tourbillon wristwatches that can be priced almost unbelievably inexpensively, relative to the prices the complication used to command. However, if there is one almost universally valid truism in mechanical horology nowadays, it's that it's not so much what you do as how you do it, and how Jaeger-LeCoultre did tourbillons – and continues to do them – is a microcosm of the evolution of the tourbillon, and the hopes we might have for its future. New AP Service Centre in Canada?
I am about to send in my watch to activate the 3rd year warranty and fix a rubber seal on the crown. My AD indicates they don't ship it to Clearwater anymore but to a new service centre in Toronto. I tried looking it up but to no avail. Anyone know of this by chance, just reluctant to send it and the AD sends it to a 3rd party repair location and not Clearwater since they provide good service and quick turnaround time.Thanks in advance.

I remember seeing a thread recently about the 116610 having a brushed vs polished clasp but searched and can’t find it.What are the approximate timeframes and dates of the two? First day with the HULK !!!
The HULK is here... for those who saw my last post and were interested in seeing some photos... here they are. They aren't the best, but I'll be taking a lot more. This watch really is stunning in outdoor light. Indoors it can almost look like a Kermit as the Bezel still looks very green but the dial does look very dark almost black. But in the sunlight there's no doubt about it, HULK IN FULL RAGE
