MCT Sequential One Watch + Video
A new luxury brand on the block is Manufacture Contemporaine du Temps (MCT). Luxury brands seem to be popping with regularity these days, so it's important to notice the unique elements of each. MCT was founded by Denis Giguet, a French engineer who has worked with watch greats such as Rolex and Harry Winston (among others). MCT debuts with its first watch, the Sequential One in a limited edition of 99 pieces. You can view the interview with him in the video below.Like many new avant garde luxury watch, the Sequential One attempts to stand out by presenting the display of time in a novel manner. In a way that is thematically similar to Urwerk watches, the Sequential watch relies on four aperture windows with revolving triangular panes (you can call them "prism shaped"), thus providing a total of 12 displays. The hours are displayed digitally on these aperture windows, while minutes are displayed in a retrograde fashion on a disc that shifts to feature one of the hour displays. In addit

New 5980R bracelet on a 5712R?
This may seem like a stupid question but before I contact my AD I was curious if anyone knows if PP will sell just the solid gold bracelet for the newly released 5980R and if so would it fit on a 5712R. The banking on a gold bracelet 5712R but we got an awesome 5980R instead. Anywho, just curious. I know the case on the '80 is bigger then the '12 not sure about the lugs tho. Thanks!
Rolex 16710 with 3186 Movement. Yes or No.
Hello TRF Friends,I'm not sure if this has been discussed recently. I did see a thread dating back to 2010/11, but nothing current. Now that we are in 2016 I thought I'd bring it up. Just wondering if people feel that the 16710 GMT with 3186 movement is worth the premium. In most cases, they run about almost double what a non-3186 would go for. My understanding is that the late Z serial and M serial's were fitted with a 3186 movement along with either a stick or rectangular dial. I've also read that there were only about a total of 30,000 pieces made this way. In the grand scheme of things, they are very rare and extremely hard to find. Especially recently. I've searched pretty much all forums and other places like watchrecon and eBay and there are only a hand full, but only one complete set that comes with a ridiculously high price. Having said that, I just wanted some opinions on whether you feel the extra premium is worth paying. I've set up a poll, so feel free to vote and give me

Are these fairly easy to get at Msrp? Seems I see new ones listed on gray market at over? That common? Are they that hard to get like blnr, hulk, SD43? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
