Well, a few months back, I had a thread for you guys to help me decide between the snoopy or Daytona. I was excited because my ad informed me he was getting one for me. Long story short, it didn't work out. I was disappointed because I was hoping to have the snoopy for my renewal of vows to my wonderful wife. She loves snoopy and I thought it would be a great choice to share in the experience. That same AD contacted me a few days ago and told me it was a sure thing this time and he didn't forget his promise to keep working on it. Well he was telling the truth and now the snoopy has joined the family. Sorry, but no wrist shots or stickers removed as I promised the wife I would wait and wear it on our celebration together in June.

Hello, I am new to the forum. I was looking into buying a speedmaster and the sapphire sandwich looks particularly appealing... Could someone please educate me as to the pros/cons of this model versus the other speedmasters? If this has been discussed previously I apologize

Hello all: A friend of mine was asking where the best place would be for him to get his Seamaster Auto serviced. He lives in Ottawa. I've had my 116710LN for a little over 7 years now and had always wanted to add a Polar 216570 to my collection. I am supposed to pick it up tomorrow from my fave AD. However, during the 3-week wait I started going back to look at 5-digit references, specifically the 16600, which I had always had a thing for as well. Prices have been creeping up for a while now, yet I had hesitated to pull the trigger.I finally found an M series 16600, that looked to almost be NOS w/ all papers, accessories, etc for a decent price. Well, it arrived today and I am thrilled. I was worried it may be top heavy as many people have complained about, but honestly, it is one of the most comfortable watches I own and of similar size to my Marathon GSAR. I thought the Polar 216570 would be my daily wearer, but now I don't know...the 16600 just melts into my arm, if that makes sense. Anyways, just wanted to share my excitement...now I'm looking at 16570s, which I know is dumb with a 216570 waiting on me.
