New Pics of my RG 44
I've taken a few new pics of my beloved 44 in the last few weeks so thought I'd put them up and some older ones. I just love all the layers and finishes of this complex watch, and I've ordered the red GP strap too as I really want to bring out the red accents on the dial.
Driver with new strap what u guys think?
Got a new strap on my driver and wanted to share.
Recommended dealer for vintage Speedy?
I'm looking for a vintage pre-moon Speedy with 321 movement. Is there any trusted dealer you would recommend? Thanks!
A pair of "oldies but goodies"
My 18k RG bumper automatic and 18k YG Rolex bubbleback automatic:Both date from ~1950.I've had the Omega for several years and refer to it as my special occasion watch. The Rolex was acquired a couple of weeks ago out of the estate of this gentleman:C. Thomas ClagettThe Rolex came on a 14k YG mesh as shown here:As you may recall, the Omega also came on a 14k mesh. That bracelet is known as a rainbow mesh as it is comprised of RG, WG, and YG:The Rolex will soon be going off for some polishing and service but I wanted a photo of the two together before that happens.Fr.
