Laser welding Rose gold possible?
Hey guy, I've been told by so many watch dealer as I've been consulting them on getting a novelty rg. People tell me that rg watch or any gold watch cant be laser welded so if there's a deep scratch I'm screwed. Is this true ? Anyone know or have any experience? He said this is the very reason gold watch price drop more than steel watch as well which if that's the case it make sense. Btw I've been offer a 26401j series 2016 the condition was used with slight scratches. The seller knows me and knowing I want one he send the watch to buff off the light scratches so it look nicer which ruin it for me what's ur thought on that? Incoming! Speedy moonwatch
Today i bought my first Omega and i love it. I already have a Rolex sub 114060 and this Speedy just made my small collection (duo:)) of toolwatches complete. The package is also an absolute treat, such a complete box with nice extra's. For me this is the one and only Omega and now i finally got one, a hesalite Speedmaster, pure history!(and please...can someone explain to me how i can rotate my photos)

I have a Seamaster 2254.50 and I love it.However, I'm considering buying a 20mm Aqua Terra bracelet to fit to my SMP.I assume it will fit to my case?2nd question: would I be able to swap clasps so that the SMP deployment clasp (how awesome is this clasp?!) goes on t the AT bracelet??I do have a quality link pin tool, so the bracelet work is under control, but does anyone know if the links are of comparable sizing??Thanks....I'm kind of new to the modern Omegas....
Cut the seal: 5270g
After a few weeks of viewing the 5270g through the plastic while it sat anxiously in the safe (that was a test of one's patience!), today I finally cut the seal, breathed in some fine Geneva air, and strapped it to my wrist. It's truly sublime, and the blue is just mesmerizing and dynamic. Here are a few pics (I love the hint of red shown via the 4 representing the Leap Year). Thanks for looking!
