Maitres du Temps Chapter Two Watch Video From TheTimeTV
Appreciating the Maitres du Temps Chapter Two watch gets even easier seeing stunning live video of the watch. Founder and owner Steven Holtzman discusses the luxury timepiece in this new video by aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer content partner TheTimeTvwatches-dealer. He takes a good approach to discussing the "volume" line (still only about 200 a year) of Maitres du Temps watches compared to the ultra exclusive Chapter One watch. The video is worth a view not only because of the discussion, but also because of the crafty video of the watch itself. You really get a good feel for the curves, the beauty, the finish, and the boldness of the dial. It keeps getting better looking each time I see it.The Chapter Two watch will retail for $66,000 and features the 18 rose gold case (white gold will likely be available in the future as well) and automatic movement with triple date complication (big date, day of the week, month). I've written about the Chapter Two watch pretty extensively, and covered
There's Something Special....
About Vintage. Just picked this one off of ebay, it's kind of beat up, but it has aged nicely. I don't think it has ever been serviced since 1954, movement looks brand new, there are absolutely no scratches on the movement!
Omega Seamaster 120m inquiry
I've just acquired Omega Seamaster 120m (2411.10.00) in excellent condition.Someone has told me that Seamaster 120m is a Ladie's watch. It seemed to be little large for ladies watch but little small for men's watch. Does anyone have info as to the gender of this watch?
sell 5712R for regulator 5235G?
here is a question that is nagging me:::)))) a month ago i committed for a regulator 5235G (within a downpayment that is actually refundable if i withdraw from the deal). however, very recently i got offered a 5711R - which i have been chasing for a while - for an excellent price, to which i have immediately agreed. the 5711R is actually a no-brainer for me - some lust for gold probably:::))). so here are my options, since for reasons of internal family hygiene in cannot get two watches in a month: sell my 5712R (i already have a very good offer, about what i paid for it) and get the 5235G or just cancel the deal on the regulator. an argument for the former is that the 5712R will see little wrist time only since the 5711R will take over the nautilus part, an argument for the latter is that the 5712R is actually an appreciating asset and after all 'easier' to wear than the full gold 5711R.i also have currently a 5227R and a 5320G incoming next year.help::::)))) decisons decisions.....fi
Rolex 16550 1991 Service Dial
Hi, trying to get some info on a ROLEX Explorer 2, bought in 1991, but dated 1998. It has the fat font bezel, full Rolex service in 2008 but the dial is very white and has 'Swiss Made' in the bottom. From other watches i've seen most have the Swiss T <25 dial.Does this mean that the watch has a service dial??Presume that lowers the cost!
