Jaeger-LeCoultre and Aston Martin Launch New AMVOX7 Chronograph
In 2005, Swiss watch brand Jaeger-LeCoultre joined with British car maker Aston Martin to produce the first AMVOX, ushering in JLC’s line of “vertical trigger” chronograph wristwatches. This year, the luxury brands join forces once more on the AMVOX7, the first model with a radial power-reserve display. The AMVOX7 Chronograph, which commemorates the eighth anniversary of the partnership between Jaeger-LeCoultre and Aston Martin, features a new, more ergonomically designed case and modifications to the crown, lugs and strap that are also meant to ensure optimum wearer comfort.Like the first AMVOX watch and all the others that followed it, the AMVOX7 has as its signature feature a chronograph mechanism that is operated not by side-mounted push-buttons but by simply pressing on the watch’s crystal. Calatrava rescued from the safe + strap question
This Patek 5196R has been in the safe for a long time but finally made it out into the light of day today. Thought I'd snap a couple pics before putting it back in the dungeon. Don't hear too much about Calatravas around here. This one is about 5 years old & has the silver dial, but I understand that they recently switched to a white dial.I used to wear my Patek all the time, now thanks to all the enablers on TRF I'm hooked on steel sports watches. Perhaps the white 5711 one day...Anyway, I'm on a strap kick thanks to my fellow Paneristi & am now thinking about a new strap for this one. Anybody have any suggestions? Would I pretty much want to stick with the Patek OEM straps or might there be some other good options? Is there another color or material strap that might look good with rose gold? Thanks!

Hi AllAt the very real risk of being a Jonny come lately, I've fallen head over heels for one of these (strangely limited) babies. Firstly, am I being a naive old fool and quite clearly there's bugger all chance of finding one for sale?If not, any of you guys (like some kinda spy network) know of one for sale?No laughing at the back if I'm living in blind optimism. Thanks
