BaselWorld 2008 - CONCORD C1 Tourbillon Gravity, Defying More Than Just Belief
Last year the luxury watch brand Concord moved to reposition itself as an even more exclusive luxury brand, with innovative, edgy designs and its former lines reduced to one, the new C1. When this spectacularly sportif, hunkily elegant new watch called the Concord C1 was first launched at BaselWorld 2007, last April, the entire production a thousand units sold out in one day. Distribution strategy
What do you think of Omega's current push to limit AD numbers and move to boutiques?A couple of years ago you could easily get 30% off and today the few AD's left hesitate to go over 10%.I believe Omega is trying to increase brand awareness and allure, and probably increase resale values but I haven't seen used prices move up, have you? What do you think will ultimately happen? Will it pan out?
Incoming vintage Seamaster
Bought purely on its classic looks, and Omega's reputation in the 40s, 50s and 60s, a 1952 Seamaster with bumper winding and subsidiary seconds. I know nothing about these, any knowledge / comments would be appreciated..finewatchco/OmegaSeamasterSMT1010.html

I've been wanting to do an official incoming thread since I made the choice to trade my 5712R for a 5980/1A and I can't be happier...I just love this piece because it works for wearing daily....I also love it because it flies under the radar...and those that see it and know it, LOVE IT!!!!Funny story, I was chatting with this guy I know who was boasting about his DD40 and how he had the best of the best.... He didn't even realize I was wearing this Patek. LOL!
