New Face Of The Breitling Aerospace Watch For 2009
Originally released almost two decades ago now, the Breitling Aerospace is a wildly popular model that underwent a series of minor visual updates over the years. The watch has recently sort of been off the radar as Breitling focused on other watches -? especially those mechanical ones with higher profit margins. The turn in the economy has allowed (forced) them to re-shift their focus on some of their more reasonably priced luxury instrument watches. At Baselworld this year they released a brand new Aerospace model (actually two watches that share the Superquartz (thermoline quartz) movement, but only one called the "Aerospace"), what recaptures some of what people loved in the original - but maybe not enough. The functions are the same, and so is most of the appeal, but the design seems to be getting less "professional" and more formal.You'll notice that the new Aerospace has a much more decorated face. I came across this watch for sale. I don't have any experience with these Omegas other than I have wanted one for some time. Any knowledgeable responses positive or negative would be greatly appreciated. Hands and lume plots still fire but not the bezel. Back case was ground down by previous owner years ago still some detail visible. I presume red second hand not original? Any thoughts?

Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso Minute Repeater
Dear all, I am writing this in the Patek forum as some of you may already know from previous discussions (and thanks to you, I have made some happy choices), I almost only purchase Pateks. So, I came across by chance while searching for a 5110 (as you can read from my previous post), a very nice Jaeger rose gold reverso minute repeater. I sold my last rose gold grand reverso 8 days power reserve a while back as it was too big and chunky. This minute repeater is smaller, fits nicely on a standard wrist and wraps around it perfectly. My question is, I am not 100% sure of a rectangle watch anymore but I must say that this one is exceptionally nice. It is a minute repeater! And it is being offered at a price of a brand new 5711! So, my rational side is telling me that this is an offer of a lifetime to get a minute repeater, my realistic side tells me, this is a very very difficult watch to offload in the future. How tough is the Aquanaut?I was a long-time wannabe PP owner until I finally bought a 5127J last year. After owning just Rolex watches, I've wanted that Calatrava for a while because I think it is very refined. Now I have the sickness. PP's are worse than Lay's. You know you can't have just one. I was/am a Rolex wearer and own several. I've slowly started giving them away to family members. Now that I'm middle-aged and don't have fantasies of living a life of action and adventure and am a family man, the appeal of Rolex is diminishing while that of PP is growing. So my question to everyone here: How tough is the Aquanaut? Would you say it is as robust as the Submariner? Can it take a beating? By which I mean travel, some diving (not below 60M...it is a diving watch after all), carrying stuff (kids, boxes, usual rubbish), and normal day to day wear. I'm not a Navy Seal or anything like that. I'm not going to be jumping out of planes and rolling around in hand to hand combat

If price was no issue, which would you rather have as your after work/weekend watch, only submariner, and the last watch you could buy for the next 10 years? (Couldn't wear it to work.)
