AP in house movement
I am new to APs so I have a question. When I was at the service center the other day Kevin in the watchmaker said briefly that some of their watches don't have in-house movements. He was in the middle of presenting so I did not want to hit him with too many questions. Of course I regret that now. I believe he said the chronographs don't but I could be wrong. Do you guys know which timepieces have in-house movements and which ones don't? The ones that don't who makes them? I have so many questions about this brand it's not funny. I guess I'll just start with this question. Thanks.
A Quick Thumbs Up
This is my first thread on the PP sub-forum, but I just wanted to give the Mods/owner(s) of TRF the for adding back the 5522 thread to the archives. I think that closing the thread but leaving it in the history logs is the right decision, and I would like to acknowledge it. I don't think that we need to rehash the entire thread here, as it has been talked about in several threads.
Four Hands
I think I caught all 4 hands in the same area in a splattering pattern! Great weekend ahead to all our good friends here!
9/7 in Florence...
It was a long time I didn't go, even it is only 100km far from home, but something special was waiting for me, new and old friends to meet... an extraordinary book...
after service, crown doesn't screw down flush
i just got my watch back from RSC and i see that the crown is no longer flush when screwed down. it was flush before.they did replace the crown and tube, along w/ doing a full factory service. i unscrewed the crown to set the time and screwed it back down, it did indeed stop short of flush.i'm asking if this is within tolerance or if i should have them fix it.sorry for the crappy photo, but i think it gets the point across.
