Just Finished Omega Mk2 Gold / Red Tachy :)
Hello, i just wanted to share with you my last resoration. I couldnt be happier with the results !As i shared here at the forums a couple of months back i bought a decent condition Mk 2 gold plated with red tachy crystal. I was hooked with this speedy, since its the most rare from the mk2 series.I went all the way with this resoration, the 861 movement was crying for a deep clean and service, i brushed the case the proper way, and did had to buy a new red crystal. The dial and hands where in great condtion so i did conserve the patina. Finally i bought a german leather vintage strap which gives the final super quality look to this vintage rare watch.Please tell me what you think about the pictures since i dont know what else to say.Thanks ! Trade 425 or 557 for 233?
I currently own 2 base PAMs 425 and 557. Ive been thinking of adding some complication to my collection. Im considering of acquiring a 233 but have to let go of one. I just want your guidance and expert take on which watch to let go for a 233. Thanks again TRF for your support.

Trade off did not materialize, and so... incoming!!
Some of you will remember that I was offered a 16710 with both Coke and Pepsi inserts for a trade for my 114060. Long story short, the interested trade party vanished and trade did not materialize. In the meantime, I was offered another 16710 Coke and if I'm honest, I fell for its charms. Picked her up tonight and put her through a soap scrub; ready for some quick pictures!And here is the new addition to the little family, along with her trade sister:

Thinking about flipping my AP Diver 15707CE plus 116610LV for an AP ROO 26400 Panda and DJ41 Blue. It would be an even swap. Pics for reference...For...IMG_1580.JPGIMG_1582.JPGDo you guys think this is a good move? The two that I own are very polarizing pieces yet highly sought after. The CE is discontinued and some say the Hulk will be discontinued soon. Not sure if this is something I should be mindful of. Maybe I'm just getting older and prefer something more conventional.
