superOcean 42?
Hi guys, I have never had a breitling but I can't shake the superocean heritage 42. I like the white dial with blue bezel and mesh bracelet, and the blue/blue combo as well. I have a Rolex 14060M and a 2503.33.00 aqua terra, and am thinking of trading the omega for the breitling. how is this watch in the flesh? I have a 5.5 inch wrist and had to take out a permanent link on my submariner. would the breitling bracelet work, or would I need to have it operated on? I would love wrist pics of any dial configuration and advice! some more questions, why do I see some of them with the date aperture at 3 and some at 6? is this watch more 'flashy' than the sub, and would it make sense to swap the aqua terra (semi dressy) for another 'dive' watch?I would appreciate any and all comments regarding the supero heritage 42!!
DSOTM- Vintage
Picked this baby up prior to Christmas. My first Speedmaster of any kind in over 6 years. Amazed at the timekeeping so far, +.33 sec/per day. And it's beautiful too!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The Definitive Patek
I know its expensive. In fact very expensive. No, it's stupidly expensive. But;I just love it.I always wanted a PP with officers style case. And the the magazine arrived...With the 5227 in.So called the local AD, a friend. One had just come in that day. I'll go and have a look, but only will be interested if in yellow gold...It was in yellow gold. That was Thursday. I said I would think about.Friday pm I went back....I will take it I said.....And my AD then said that's good, someone came in this morning and wanted to buy it, the AD said it was taken for...I saved up and paid bit by bit. Bit by bit.I wear it all the time now. It's scratched and a bit battered in places..it's been up mountains and across moors. And the straps a bit worn allready. But in my opinion it is the definitive Patek. The 'rolex explorer' of the PP line...Yes it's expensive....

SubC ND Newbie Questions: Maintenance, Rubber Strap
Hi guys, new member here. I've recently fallen in love with the 114060 and just had a few questions before I take the plunge. Also, I realize there will likely be a waiting list for this one, but I'm not in a rush at all, so no worries.1. How often would I need to get it serviced, assuming every day wear, and taking it on dives 0-2 times a year? How much does this usually cost?2. I am thinking of putting it on an Everest or Rubber B clasp strap immediately (just because I like the casual/black look). I will probably keep the brand new bracelet in the box. Is it weird to have the watch age, but have a brand new strap (for example if I decide to sell it a few years down the line)? Is this actually more desirable, or no difference? Also, please let me know if there's anything else I've forgotten to consider. Thanks very much guys!
