Essay: An American High Schooler In Hong Kong That Loves Watches
The below essay is a contribution from Evan Tich:My name is Evan Tich, and I am currently living in Hong Kong and will be for the remainder of my high school years. I have relocated many times in my life due to my father's job. It came as no surprise to me when my dad sat our family down and broke the news, again. Different cities ideas flew through my head, but never in my life would I have expected to move to such a foreign place as Hong Kong; however, I have been living here for three years as a student, a soccer player, and, most importantly, a watch enthusiast - and have been loving every minute of it.When I made the long trip to Hong Kong International Airport, it was no surprise that there were many things different to that of which I was accustomed to in the United States; however, the longer I rested in the city of Hong Kong, the more accustomed I grew to it. Halios Delfin PVD Review
Halios watches probably needs little introduction on worn&wound. Over the last few years, the Vancouver based dive watch brand has earned a reputation for making great, unique watches. We previously reviewed two versions of their Tropik watches, one in bronze and the other in steel, both of which earned high regards from us. Stylish, restrained, well built, well priced they were hard not to like.Last October, Jason, the founder of Halios, brought his wares down from Canada to show at our Wind-Up: NYC event. He had on display samples of all of his watches, from the coveted 1000M Puck to his newest at the time and the topic of this review, the Delfin. It was love at first sight. I'm not sure how many times I went over to his booth and quietly picked it up to ogle and try on, but hopefully I didn't annoy him too much. Needless to day, I knew I had to review it.Fast forward a few months and here we are with the Delfin PVD, the follow up to the initial stainless model. Sporting a sophi

is this a real model ?
Hi guys,Dont know much about omegas. I am a rolex person but always liked the Seamaster Diver except its bracelet which is not my type.I came across a picture though, the watch i like also has a bracelet I like. does it mean the Seamaster can be modified so that for example a bracelet from a Speedmaster pro can be placed onto Seamaster Pro ?Is the picture representing a modified Omega or just an older model that is not made anymore. Can you please give an exact reference for it ? Thanks !
Tuesday, what Omega is on your wrist?
My one and only Omega is on my wrist again today.
