Introducing the Sinn 103 A Sa B
The Sinn 103s are easily some of our favorite chronographs on the market. Not only do they have gorgeous vintage styling, directly pulling from the earliest Sinn's of the late 60's, they are exceptionally made and surprisingly affordable, with models starting at $1,640. We reviewed this? "entry-level" variant of the 103 a couple of years ago, which is notable for its domed acrylic crystal for a retro feel. Over the years, Sinn has realized various versions of the 103, some with more modern tech, other's with special LE dials, creating a nice variety to seek out. Well, Sinn just announced a new limited edition version of this watch that is sure to turn heads, the 103 A Sa B. Or more simply, a blue 103.The 103 A Sa B takes the 103 design and infuses it with color. Both the bezel and the dial have been turned blue for a fairly striking result. The bezel is a dark blue with a satin sheen and standard 103 markings. The dial is then a rich vibrant sun ray. While I'm a fan of blue, too much c
The Baume & Mercier Hampton Emblematic: A Fitting Nod To The Brand's Past
Baume & Mercier continues their string of hits with a special "emblematic" version of their Hampton. Modeled after an historic Art Deco model from the company's past, this Hampton features an arched case profile and curved crystal, with a vintage-looking Roman numeral dial. Fitting of a vintage-inspired timepiece, the watch is powered by a decorated handwound movement, visible through the display caseback, built for Baume & Mercier by LaJoux-Perret. The gold Hampton Emblematic will sell for $15,000.Click through for pictures of the caseback and the original Baume & Mercier from which this new model is derived. 2 OF 3 3 OF 3

Moon Watch or Schumacher Speedy?
I am considering picking up a Speedy to pair with my 15400 black dial. I have very little knowledge on the Speedy, so I am turning to this forum for some guidance and opinions. The watch may occasionally make an appearance in a business casual environment, but I doubt that would happen often. This watch will be intended for nights and weekends.I am trying to decide between a Moon Watch, or the Schumacher posted below. They each have their own merits.Moon Watch: - Hard to beat the history of a watch that was on the moon - A bit more versatile with the all black dial - Dial is completely symmetrical - Absolute icon - Less water resistance - A very common watchSchumacher: - Far less common, there are SO many classic moon watches out there - While I like that it has a different design and some color, I worry that I won't like it as much after the novelty of it wears off. I had a blue 16613, and a LVC, and flipped them both in 3 months because the color got old for me. - Has a date. I ha
