I think of the Casio G-Shock GW056A as the G-Shock for people who don't like G-Shocks. It's certainly the most subtle and unrecognizable G-Shock currently in the lineup, and most importantly, the slimmest.It has the same octagonal case as many of the older G-Shocks (and the new retro tribute G-Shocks), but the brushed stainless steel bezel makes the shape much more pronounced. In fact, the shape is the first thing you notice about the GW056A. New Nautilus - early DNA already in the 7118?
Speculation only Was looking at a 7118 and I can see some possible features that they move to a new 5711 - possibly call it the 5811? I can see them adding a 1)Thinner bezel2)More pronounced blue3)Date window surround4) Move date window to 6 !?5) Revise the hand design Also will likely see the replacement priced higher than the 5711 as the ladies 7118 is now the same price as a 5711.
PAM 233 Changes
Just left the NYC boutique and the rep told me that the 233 is losing the dome crystal AND it's going to be fully polished in the next production series.This is the first I've heard about the polished case but its the second time that a rep has told me the dome is getting the axe. The first time was the flagship boutique in Florence last month.I'm hope Panerai decides to change their mind. The 233 is perfect the way it is.
