Speedy with sapphire crystal and exhibition back
Hi, I have a chance to pick up a Speedmaster at a decent price. I've always envisioned the classic Speedy to have a Hesalite crystal with a solid case back. The one I can buy has the sapphire crystal with the exhibition case back.Just wondering what the perception is of a Speedy in the above stated config. Thanks in advance!
5712 as your only watch?
I've had several threads about the 5712 and 5164. I think I'm leaning towards the 5712, but to get it now would mean I'd like pair down my collection to just the 5712 at the moment. So...Does it make sense to have the 5712 as your only watch? Currently I have a BLNR and SS Daytona, and while the 5712 is not a PM watch...it does look more dressy to me than my Rolexes. I know it will look great with a suit and when I'm dressed for work...but what about when I'm casual?? Is it a watch that goes with anything? It could just be more history with Rolex but I've been very pleased with how versatile they are...and the PP 5712 just looks more formal to me - hence my concern.Anyone just have a 5712 and/or use it as their daily go-to?Thoughts?
Depreciation of Original deepsea
Hi forum I just want to share my sad feeling about DSSD black. Recently I ask my dealer friend just see how much cost in used market. Result was very sad. It goes around 6.5k-7.5k.... which is sub date ceramic cost.. I think this beast deserve but more than that... I know deepsea blue is killing this piece but... kind of hard to justify price between those 2 pc. What you guys think??? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk

Search Update
Hi everybody. I wanted to give an update on my upgrade from my Air King 114200. I posted, a few weeks ago, that I wanted something a bit bigger and was really wanting a sub. I went to my local AD and tried on several difference watches. I knew, going in, that I wanted a sub...that was until I tried on the Explorer 1. I put it on and immediately fell in love with it. The size is perfect, the dial is simple...yet confident...if that makes sense. It was exactly what I was looking for. I found a seller on here and pulled the trigger. I couldn't be happier and it is going to be the perfect compliment to my grandfathers 6334 that I cherish. Being a pilot, I loved my Air King. I loved the story behind it and really enjoyed wearing it. Aside from wanting something bigger...I needed something to commemorate this year. My wife and I welcomed our first child, a girl, into our family. At the same time, my wife kick the crap out of bile duct cancer (she was diagnosed when she was pregn
