Swatch Womens Pro Trestles Surf Competition
When you think of Swatch, you think of plastic fashion watches, first and foremost. And if you're a WIS C or if you read our History of the Swatch Group?C you maybe think of the company that helped save the Swiss watch industry. But do you think lifestyle? Do you think of mountains and skiing? Does sun and surf occur to you? Bronzed athletic bodies performing amazing stunts while attached to boards sliding over water, frozen or liquid?I spent a few days in southern California to find out what #swatchlife was all about.Surfing, as you may know, is a lifestyle sport. And it's an international sport like few others. Formula 1, golf, tennis C and a few others qualify. Unfortunately, they don't take place in the gorgeous surroundings surfing does. Warm weather, green water, white sand, bikini-clad women. Yeah, surfing kinda scratches the itch. And so it was that I found myself on San Onofre State Beach near San Clemente. The ASP Women's Pro Tour joined the Men at the fabled surf spot known as
Would you sell a Panerai 233 for a Dark Side of the Moon?
I know the watches are very different, but lately the Omega dark side of the moon has really caught my eye, and really conflicted as to whether I should sell my 233K dot dial to fund it. I consider the 233 to be one of Panerai's modern classics, and my only manual wind watch. But the DSotM is just so well constructed, and I really like the all ceramic construction (including pushers, crown, and dial), and both the polished and brushed effects on the watch. It also has a great in-house movement, just like the 233.Unfortunately I can't keep the 233 and get the DSotM, so if you are in my position, would you sell the 233? Appreciate everyone's input and thoughts. Here is a pic of my 233:
5205 Blue?!
I have recently come accross this on Instagram. 5205 blue dial, limited edition of 25... Wow.beyer-ch/en/patek-phi...-calendar.html
How long would you wait?
Members,My AD told me they may (no guarantee) be able to get me an application piece I applied for almost a year ago. They asked for a deposit equal to the full price of the piece. I wired them the money a month ago. I just spoke to them the other day and they have no update from Patek. I'm wondering if they are just wasting my time? Thoughts? How long would you be willing to wait after making a full deposit?
Need help on 14060
I am looking at a 14060. The seller says it is A series (no box, no paper). I will see it by myself next week. But from pictures sent by the seller, its serial no. is A35xxxx. There is the word swiss under the marker at 6 o clock of the dial.My questions are1. Is the dial match with the serial no?2. What else to look for to see whether it is fake or not?Thank you.
