My Bremont Martin-Baker Watch Article On AskMen.com
I can really appreciate this watch from a functional level. Truth be told,? I don't think that Bremont had to do too much new stuff to make the Bremont Martin-Baker MB-1 or MB-2 watches as durable as they are. It was more a matter of applying existing techniques to make the watch as durable as it is. The difference really is in the physical testing that the watches underwent to test out their durability. Basically they can survive the uber amount of g-forces you experience when being ejected out of an airplane via ejection seat, and the subsequent jerky ride back to Earth. The MB-1 model is only given to people who undergo this journey in a real life situation. The MB-2 model is available to everyone else, and is just a little by different cosmetically. Decent looking watches as well, with that now signature, Bremont style.See my Bremont Martin-Baker watch article on AskMenwatches-dealer here.See Bremont watches on eBay here.See Bremont watches on Amazon here. Royal Oak Bezel Screw
Hello all,Still having a tough time deciding between a royal oak or offshore (narrowed it down to the silver dial 15400 or the Safari). From the research I've done, I noticed the offshore doesn't use white gold bezel screws (rather stainless steel screws). Anyone know why the offshore a do not use the gold screws and the composition of the white gold? Also, I read a review of a royal oak and it said the screws can turn yellow due to lack of rhodium plating due to small size. I'm assuming this isn't true, but would like confirmation. Thanks.
The 2nd AP. So which ROO should i pick? Thx!
MY 1st/current AP is black dial 15300. and now ready for the 2nd AP for my collection. so i decided to get one ROO 42mm line since my wrist is only around 6.5 inches. And most watches in my collection that have black/dirty black dial. i do really like ROO RG rubber clad but i do not like the rubber bezel/rubber covered bezel (i just wish they did not cover it). So im thinking to get SS/Carbon one???
What watch did I see in the window??
Hi everyone, I was window shopping at a store that was closed and a new Omega caught my eye. I know nothing about Omega watches, so what is the specific model watch in the picture? What is the ballpark price of this watch?Thank you,Zack
Apollo 11 Anniversary July 20th 1969
Hey Guys:Sunday is the anniversary of the Apollo 11 landing on the moon; it is also the biggest day in the history of Omega because of all the watches that followed! The black Speedmaster Professional 321 or 861 is pretty awesome, but the 35th Anniversary Apollo 11 with the white dial is a definite keeper. Thanks Neil and Buzz; you made this hobby one of the best !!
