Oris Atelier Worldtimer Review On WatchReport.com
There are certain high-end Swiss watches that I've always admired for their style and function, among them is the Ulysse Nardin GMT Perpetual. It's a travel watch in the tradition of the Rolex GMT Master, but with a neat twist: It has two buttons that increment or decrement the local time. When you travel, simply press the buttons as required to jump to your destination time zone! Simple to use, hard to make and very functional. However, being a Swiss chronometer of in-house design, the Ulysse Nardin is out of my price range. Imagine my surprise and delight, then, at discovering that well-regarded Swiss brand Oris now has a similar watch, the Oris Atelier Worldtimer. The 44 goes to NYC
First trip with the AP and having an absolute blast. Came out for the art auctions but of course fantastic food, friends and drinks makes it perfect. A bit surreal watching the Da Vinci go for $450M to be honest. Anyway....Been wearing it all day every day, gym aside, and it's been a pleasure. The more I wear it the more I love it. Hit the flagship Rolex store on 5th to try on my up and coming contenders so threw a few pics of those in a as well. They had the plastic on so didn't photograph as well as they should.
Tried on another Speedmaster...
This time it was an Apollo 11 limited edition. Silver dial with black sub-dials. Why I keep doing this to myself, I have no idea, these watches feel amazing to wear. $4500 brand new plus 23% off...
First patek.. Which one?
If I were to get a patek, which one should I go for? Below r some pictures I took while trying on the watch.
