My Japan's Watch Revival: The Lexus Effect Article On AskMen.com
This was an important article for me to write as the concept of luxury Japanese watches has been on my mind a lot lately. I think you'll find it an interesting read. It rather well accumulates my dispersed thoughts on this topic of global sold Japanese luxury watches and our perception on them.See my Japan's Watch Revival: The Lexus Effect article on AskMenwatches-dealer here. Does anyone know where to source a ceramic bezel for the 44mm ROO?
Want an extra one and the service centre is quoting close to $4,000!
AP dealer in the DFW area?
Can't find any from the AP website, but surely there have to be several in this huge metroplex.
42mm Titanium Planet Ocean
What are anyone's experiences like with the 42mm PO Ti? I guess part of this question is, how much difference is there between the 8500 movement and the 8900 movement as well? Thanks, your thoughts are appreciated.Don
Papers
sorry if this is a stupid question, but I am new to Patekhow important is it to have the papers with a Patek?i am asking because i have seen a blue dial 5711 for around $4000 off the regular price, but it is lacking the papers... i can see reasons for them being more important than say with a rolex but if the lack of papers is reflected in the price, and considering this is one of the more basic pateks, would this make the deal worth considering?thanks
