Davosa Vanguard Review
As a fan of vintage as well as contemporary watches, I love it when brands are able to pull from the aesthetics of watches from the 20th century, without making something gimmicky. Luckily, as a bit of a trend, many brands have recently created such watches. From the remarkably cheap Orient Bambino to the stark and simple Hamilton Intra-Matic, there are a nice amount of options to choose from. Adding to this genre, Davosa has just released their new Vanguard model, which takes mid-century styling and adds a few twists for something unique.I first saw the Davosa Vanguard in Basel last April. Then still unnamed, I was immediately impressed by the design in my brief viewing. It was a nice compact size, had cool texturing and had some details that seemed straight out of the 60's. AP trunk show London anyone going?
I've been invited to the AP trunk show at the London Edition this coming Thursday and was wondering are any other UK members attending that day?
Am I ruining the AP look with a small dial? (37mm)
Hey guys.Yes it is me again; I do apologise for making another thread, however your opinions are greatly appreciated, and I am really thinking this one hard now.I am thinking of picking this beauty up as my dress watch / business casual attire watch.I have a BLNR which serves me as an all rounder.Do you think I am killing the look with a small dial? Or you think this works for me?I have 6 ish wrists. On a side note, I would like to ask current RO members on the durability of this watch.I do understand that these watches are gentle and can catch scratches easily, which I have no problem with, however is it easy to dent the watch with a slight hit on the door, etc? Give me your honest opinions.Thank you all
Incoming just in time for the holiday!
I liked this one from the start and couldn't wait to get some wrist time. I got it yesterday, but I finally had a little time today for a post. I have it mounted on my B&S strap, but looking forward to trying it on a bracelet.

Upgraded my my Omega Speedmaster Reduced to this 3572.50 thanks to George! Absolutely love the hesalite crystal! The reduced I had was Sapphire. My watch collection now consists of this guy and a DJ 16013 with a white face. I feel comfortable with this setup for the foreseeable future. Cheers!Ryan
