Introducing The Montblanc Heritage Chronomtrie Quantieme Annual Calendar Vasco da Gama
With the introduction of the Heritage Chronométrie Quantième Annuel Vasco da Gama, Montblanc makes a fine push into the small, but growing, segment of the industry for relatively affordable complicated timepieces. (They also score big points for having an epic product name – the collection is inspired by Vasco de Gama, the first European to reach India by sea.)This 40 mm wristwatch – available in both steel and gold, pictured here – is modern without being cold, with a dial that balances three sub-dials for the annual calendar and a separate moonphase with elegant ease.At a list price of EUR 11,100 in 18k red gold, you would be hard-pressed to find a greater value proposition for a similarly complicated precious metal wristwatch in this price category. I put it on and it just clicked, looked and felt 'right'... just a shame that it is listed 24,500!!! Will try and find a used one now though at a price that works :)

A little detective work with a magnifying glass and shooting at the right angle and I captured it.Look at the first photo, then the second photo, magnified.Did you all know about this?

Hello.. For the first time ever I wore my SubC to a conference at work today. Colleagues immediately noticed my watch. I received plenty of compliments on my watch. I was even asked a couple of times by people that I consider to be friends to take my watch off so that they could take a closer look at it. Do any of you allow colleagues or friends to handle your Rolex?
