Pre-SIHH 2018 New Royal Oak Offshore "Combat"
Pre-SIHH 2018 AP just dropped this one off. Meet the new Royal Oak Offshore 44 Combat ref. 26400SO.OO.A054CA.01https://.watchcollectinglifestyle...00soooa054ca01
Royal Oak15300 issues
Hi all,New AP owner and have only had it for a month but have had some issues. When I first took it home I noticed it was running 17/s per MINUTE fast. Took it to my AD and they demagnetized it and it was running perfectly. Then it stopped once or twice because I don't think I wound it enough, and for the next few weeks all was well.I played golf today and a few hours later the watch stopped again. Except this time the rotor won't budge. The other times I just wound it and it started again, but the rotor isn't moving and although I can wind it manually is it not starting. I get the feeling the spring is getting old because it doesn't seem to hold much of a wind.Any idea what the issue might be? I'm going to bring it back to the AD on monday and may ask they cover a full AP service at this point (the warranty is with the AD not AP, and they said if I had other issues they would cover an AP service).
Had To Do It
I've never had the classic hesalite speedy. I've had variations, but most did not stick. I knew this was necessary given where I'm at with watches, but I wasn't planning on it just yet.But I was there. And it's so nice. Sits perfect on the wrist. And yeah, something about the hesalite. Kind of enjoying having to wind it manually too.
New speedy
I've been omegaless for a couple of years,so I decided to add one again. After owning two seamasters and a planet ocean I thought it was time to try a speedy. It truly is a classic, feels great on the wrist,so comfortable.I can't believe it took me so long to get around to it.I think it rounds of my small collection well.

what is the difference between the 2 watches other than 1mm and the dust cover?
