Temption CM05 Watch
I have a really strong affinity to the small, independent German watch maker Temption. I have two of their watches, the CGK203 and the Cameo (click on those links for my reviews). Each year they try to release a new model, and I eager await what they have to share. Last year it was the beautiful Cameo, and this year is the CM05. While the Cameo was a totally new design for the brand, the CMO5 is more of an evolution on their classic look. Emphasis here is on build quality, and the simple design aesthetic that made the Cameo as popular as it was.Temption is proud that the CM05 is totally screwed together. There are no rivets, studs, or pressed points (though the sapphire crystal might be an exception). As such, you can see the screws in the caseback and all over the bracelet. Would you add a 44rg ceramic ROO to your collection if you already have a 41rg ROC black dial croc strap? I just got the ROC back in November and am already itching for another AP, specifically the 44mm ROO rg ceramic. Alternatively I'm considering a Rolex Platinum Daytona, which has been a grail of mine for years. Would you get the 44rg ceramic ROO if you already have the 41rg ROC? Do you think they'd be too similar? Maybe if I traded the ROC towards the 44rg? Let me hear your thoughts!

CK-2998 or wait for the speedmaster 60th anniversary
Hello TRF,I am being offered a CK-2998 but also have the opportunity to buy one the speedmaster 60th anniversary limited edition. Both are limited editions.Should I wait? Should I go for the CK-2998.Not really a fan of manual movements, I like them but prefer the convenience of automatic movements.Please let me know your opinions since I have to make a decision soon. Alright gang, here is the deal... I am NOT a fan of the is this an investment threads... To each their own and many folks like them, totally cool. So, anyway, I have a very good relationship with my AD. I was not the first on the list for the for the SD 43 but was the first to get it (don't tell anyone). I am on the list for the Tudor GMT (never owned a Tudor) and the new Rolex Pepsi GMT. Super curious what the community thinks. Will this Rolex Pepsi take off like the ceramic Daytona? Will the Tudor be a huge hit? Honestly, I am really liking BOTH and think they could be great in the rotation. Again, more curious than anything. Also, the wife and I need a new kitchen so if there is money to be made, maybe this is a good time to be a flipper? Yeti
