It is a bit ironic that my first post on the Rolex forum is about an Omega. After years and years of admiring the PloProf, I happened upon this gem on ebay Saturday night. A one owner, all original example with a great provenance from an IMCA member. Needless to say, I am thrilled with the watch which makes it a lot easier to sell a few pieces to make room for this beast! Hi all,I haven't been on in a while, however I did want to share about my new purchase Omega.This is my first Omega. Their watches are very beautiful. Currently I own a DJ2 TT-SLTE, GMT2 C, DeepSeaC, Sub LvC, and now my fist Omega. I was bent on whether I wanted the Orange or black. I chose black. The orange was a little too much for my taste, but is very beautiful. I figured I'd go black since it is my first Omega. I also love the clear caseback as well.

Hey all,I just got back from my AD and I tried on the PP 5940g. I was surprised at how well it fit my wrist; felt like it was custom made for me. It actually looked ok with my casual attire. What are your thoughts on this piece. The salesman said that this is not a popular piece. I wonder why this is. Is it because of the cushion shaped case?
