WATCH WINNER REVIEW: Hamilton Khaki Pilot Day Date
Josh G. was the winner of our September 2014 Hamilton watch giveaway and has come back with this watch winner review - for that we thank him and recognize his passion for the art. Please see our current watches-dealer giveaway for Maurice Lacroix Pontos S dive watch here.First, thank you Ariel Adams and watches-dealer for sponsoring the monthly watch giveaways. Also, thank you Hamilton for generously providing this watch for the September giveaway. After a week of owning the Hamilton Khaki Pilot Day Date, I still remain impressed with the overall fit and feel of this piece.?This watch definitely was handsome right out of the box and set a strong first impression with me. This is my first aviator style watch and my first Hamilton. I will try and keep my observations as objective as possible.? This was the fourth Great White I had owned but none ever felt right on my wrist. I finally figured out that the case was just too thick. After doing some research, I decided the EXPII was the way to go and about five weeks ago a new M/3186 joined my 105.012 Speedy Pro and 2254.50 SMP:
Factory Tour
Last week had the privilege of going on a two day trip to Patek.Wow.I know others have been...But, tour of the museum. And then the factory.Got to see in the flesh the 150 anniversary watch..And the star calibre...The whole collection in one hit...But no photos allowed from inside. If you ever get the chance go! It makes you realise why they cost so much, and actually you realise that they are worth the money....
