AP road trip...
Set off early Thursday to the AP service centre in London, AP on my wirst of course..Wasn't the best day to make the journey as it was rather warm and humid (by UK standards) I did have an invite from AP to go to the trunk show after the appointment but I had promised my daughter we'd take her down to the Rain Forest Cafe, so I dropped my wife and daughter off at Hamleys.Off to the service centreThe staff were lovely and sat me down in a room all to myself with a nice glass of ice cold Coke (Rolex AD take note ) and off they took my new pride & joyHope they didn't notice my wallet And here's she is back and looking good So off I went to spend the rest of the day wife my family but they couldn't have me leave empty handed

This watch deserved a better band...
Greetings TRF,Just wanted to share pictures of the new band I got for my Audemars Piguet. The other one I had was a cheaper one and although I don't usually pay too much for my bands it was getting worn out rather quickly and was a tad thick for that watch.Here's what I found instead.It's one of my first flip over deployant clasps, I usually buy bands that come with butterfly ones and was always looking for a different type. I sure like the feeling and the look of it! It's not an expensive band but I quite like the grain on it, I think it gives the watch a nice look....And obviously, a new band equals a new wrist shot! Are gold-on-black Speedmasters (3695.50.31) rare?
Hi guys,A friend of a friend owns a gold-on-black Speedy and I think it looks awesome. However, when I started looking online I noticed that gold Speedies are quite rare. Is that true?Here is what I'd like to add to my collection:I am sure I can go to a dealer and order it, but I'd like to get it used to save some $$$.
