Watch Insider: Patek Philippe to Unveil New Booth at Baselworld 2014
Baselworld 2014 is almost upon us, and I have continued to preview new watches and cover other news on my blog, Watch-Insider. This week Patek Philippe, one of Baselworld’s most popular exhibitors, announced that it will be debuting an all-new booth at the fair.Patek Philippe describes the new space as “An innovative, functional and futuristic booth to illustrate the brand's core values, showcase its products in a modern yet timeless environment, and provide a functional yet traditional work space.”All the showcases are visible to the public from the outside, creating a surprise with the presentation of all (!) the Patek Philippe collections namely 198 timepieces in total? including a special focus on new watches. An innovative showcase dedicated to movements presents 50 different calibers with detailed information on screen. There will also be visuals and films devoted to the new collections.Detailed info on the new Patek Philippe Baselworld booth, from PatekR
It's 2013, When Will A Mainstream Smartwatch Finally Arrive?
I am writing this article in July of 2013, amidst almost daily updates from around the web of opinions, news and rumors about smartwatches. They did this when they released the iPhone and the original iPod, and again as they embark on the design of something not yet proven, they wil

Sub No Date vs AP Royal Oak vs JLC MoonPhase Ultra Thin
I currently have a GMT II BLNR, SpeedMaster Professional, and Zenith El Primero.Which one of the three would be a good add to the collection? Sub No Date, AP Royal Oak, JLC MoonPhase Ultra Thin? I was looking at the sub hulk as well but I prefer the classic look of the sub no date. I am thinking of the AP and the JLC as well as options since the sub no date is a little similar to the gmt ii. Thoughts?
