Finally Got A Cockpit
I've wanted a Cockpit since I first saw a picture of one. I had a chance to pick one up recently and couldn't pass it up. I think this is my favorite time piece I've owned. The dual date wheel really sets this model apart from the rest and snaps into place right at midnight. My lighting wasn't great but here are a few quick shots of it. The pics don't do the detail of the dial any justice.

One of the endearing and foundational ideas of a master brand like Rolex is that it doesn't change much.Brands that release new watches each season kill second hand value, and kind of prove their designs weren't the best in the first placeI am glad that Rolex re-released a previous start, with the wrong bracelet, and a pimped up Daytona, for the Dubai set only.Its a statement of confidence in the brand frankly!Now where do I find a loan for the blue dial white gold SS. GMT2 adjusting hour hand at certain times?
