Vulcain is introducing two new watches: an 18k rose gold Cricket Anniversary Heart Automatic Calendar, and a Nautical Heritage Limited Edition that celebrates the 50th anniversary of a historical dive watch with mechanical alarm. Find details and prices inside. For 2011 Vulcain presents the Anniversary Heart Automatic Calendar in a 42mm 18k rose gold case. The anthracite metallic sapphire dial provides a view of the 257-part Cricket Calibre V-22 from the manufacture in Le Locle. A cut-out reveals the date at 6 o’clock. This latest version of the Cricket alarm movement is equipped with two barrels: one to powers the timekeeping functions, and the other the alarm, which rings for a full 15-20 seconds. The escapement ticks at a classic 18,000 vibrations per hour. Sapphire case back on Dual Time?
Hi everyone, I am thinking of maybe getting a Royal Oak, I really like the dual time, but there is one thing that stops me, I am a real sucker for see through case backs, especially the movement on the classic RO is beautiful, don't know if the dual time movement is so nice but if it is I would like to get one and put a sapphire case back, I know that a german company makes them for most rolex models, but don't know if it exists for the Ro dual time or if it is possible to get one from AP.Can anyone give me some info on this?Would be much appreciated.
