Thinking about my first AP...
Well...that time has come where I'm seriously considering getting ahold of my first AP. One that I have admired for a while. Thinking about flipping a couple of my Rolexes to put it in the collection. Just wanted to see what you guys thought. My BLNR (bought this month) and a Milgauss (circa 2014) for an I series AP ROO Diver. Just the thought of finally getting an AP gets me pumped. Super avenger repair
OkI have no idea how this happened as I take extremely good care of my watches.My brietling super avenger crown stem broke off in the crown and in watch.My local watch shop said brietling will not sell parts. They will only repair it themselves and most likely force a service on me. (A service is not needed at this time)It's not the money but the principle..Can anyone on the forum get me an official brietling crown and stem??ThxSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

RSC Hides Behind a Loophole
My wife's 9 month old DJ is losing 30 seconds a day. I took it to the NYC RSC and was delivered a complete shock. They told me the watch was damaged and couldn't be regulated. I would need to pay $400 for the service (discounted from $500+ because it is under warranty) plus another $130 for a new crown. This watch was NOT banged or dropped. My wife doesn't partake in activities or a lifestyle that would cause this. But RSC told me the evidence was there. One of the dots beneath the coronet on the crown was slightly flattened. Therefore, the crown was damaged and so was the timing mechanism. I can't tell you how upset I am. Has anyone had a similar experience with RSC? What did you do? Were you able to get Rolex to fix it without an astronomical cost.?Rolex touts themselves makers of these durable, tough-as-nails watches, yet this doesn't seem to be the case.
