Vacheron Constantin Reference 57260 Pocket Watch Is World's Most Complicated Watch Ever Made
To celebrate its 260 years of uninterrupted history, today, Vacheron Constantin has revealed the Vacheron Constantin Reference 57260 pocket watch, which, according to the manufacture,?is the most complicated watch ever made. Commissioned by one?of the top collectors in the world and?the result of eight years of research, development, prototyping, manufacturing, and?assembly all performed?in?Vacheron Constantin's Atelier Cabinotiers haute horlogerie?workshop, this unique piece was conceived to be the most complex mechanical timepiece ever created C taking the title from another pocket watch, the Patek Philippe Caliber 89?pocket watch?and its 33 complications and 1,728 components. It is here, at the beginning, where we should mention that there is not one definitive rule as to what can and cannot be called a complication. Theoretically, everything beyond the simple timekeeping functions (hours, minutes, seconds), all functions could be called that, but some argue that features such as ret
Resident Evil Watches By GSX
Once again proof that Japan gets much cooler stuff than we do here in the West. I still wonder why that is, and the best reason I can come up with is that collector types in Japan are willing to spend more in items such as these Resident Evil themed timepieces. In the 1990s Capcom (a video game developer) first released their landmark series of video games called Resident Evil, though in Japan it was called Biohazard (and sometimes Resident Evil: Biohazard).I played the first Resident Evil game on the first Playstation when I was a teenager. Since then I tried to play as many of the major games as possible. These innovative survival horror games put you in a dark world with a very elaborate set of storiesand zombies. You mostly played as a character who was part of a SWAT team style organization called STARS. You went into investigate issues that often related to apocalyptic outbreaks, zombies, and just general weird stuff going on. The first game was set in a mansion, while subsequent
Japanese Miyota Targets Swiss ETA With Caliber 9000 Series Watch Movements
For about 10 years ETA has been threatening to stop supplying third-party (outside the Swatch Group) watch brands with movement kits. The horological drama has been high, with the Swiss government weighing in several times, and ETA seemingly going back and forth with what they are going to do. Before Nicolas Hayek died, the latest was that ETA would no longer be supplying (ebauches) movement kits to third party watch brands, but they could get assembled kits. There were rumors that he actually would be giving kits to select outside Swatch Groups brands that he hand picked. Then he died, and now it isn't clear who will get ETA movements and how. Whatever the fact may be for the next few years, watch brands that used to rely on ETA movements have been looking elsewhere for alternatives. This is because completed movement kits from ETA would be much more expensive and much harder to get.One place many have looked to is Japan. While Japanese movements don't have the name prestige that Swis

I dont know if it's the angle but it looks in some pics that the bottom push button looks like it's jutting out more than the top.
