Parmigiani Fleurier And Bugatti Lifestyle
Every year, for one week, the beautiful Pebble Beach area is home to the most comprehensive and extravagant multi-show for car collectors and car enthusiasts on the planet: The Concours d'Elegance. What makes this super show special is that there is something for every car lover: from concept cars, to modern marvels, to the supercars, and the wonderful race cars of the past and present. In 2014, Parmigiani Fleurier?celebrated 10 years of partnership with the French (now German-owned) car manufacturer Bugatti, who makes some of the most coveted supercars in the world, most notably, the world record holder for fastest production car: The Bugatti Veyron. Since Pebble Beach is a short drive from where I live in Silicon Valley, I was more than happy to make the drive to spend a few days living the Bugatti and Parmigiani lifestyle, in what I found to be?one of the most beautiful places in the world. What follows here is a short report on this "dream" lifestyle from my experience at the Concour

Nautilus 5711 question
Hey all,So I've got my 5711/1A ready to be sized, and I'm a little nervous. If I size the watch at the AD Saturday and walk out the door with it on my wrist, it's mine--no more option to back out. The reason I'm a little nervous is I've tried several times to get comfortable with Rolex SS (oyster) bracelets but for some reason I never can. I hate the way they feel, and always end up putting on straps instead. It seems that the oysters are always either too tight or too loose. So one of the many reasons I chose the nautilus is I've heard they are extremely comfortable--can anyone assure me this bracelet will feel way more comfortable than an oyster, or am I destined to be a strap guy and just setting myself up for failure? Patek doesn't have a strap option for the 5711/1A right? Thanks! Saturday is final decision day so thanks to all for the help!
Any personal experiences with Combat Straps?
I see they are in Canada...Straps look nice - and only a 2.5 week turnaround? That's mighty fast. My current favorite strap maker is approaching 4 months.Questions (yes I will ping the maker, but hoping for TRF reactions)- How is the quality compared with other custom shops?- Can you choose your lining?- is the hole placement same as OEM? I.e. Do I need to adjust for anything on the strap length?- Anything I should know? Thanks in advance!
